Post Doctoral works (2018-2019) SIMAP Grenoble-INP:
Study of the fundamental physic processeses governing the material flow inside microsized molds during the amorphous metallic alloys (AMA) preparation. This work is performed with a yound start-up Vulkam, coming from the SIMAP incubator, specialized in the preparation and production of AMA.
Post Doctoral works (2018) LEM3 Université de Lorraine:
Detailed study of the effects of cooling parameters on the final grinded inclined workpiece.
PhD work (2014-2017) LEM3 Naval Group:
Thermomechanical modelization of the contact zone during the grinding of a nitrided steel gear tooth. Effects on the workpiece integrity.
The grinding process is very useful to obtain a very precise surface finish. It is generally used on very hard materials wich cannot be machined by other conventional machining precesses. However grinding involves very complex material removal mechanisms and most of time this process is very difficult to set up.
- Study of the effects of the grinding thermal damages on the nitrided steel microstructure. The use of classical measurement technics such as: hardness measurement, SEM and DRX or original and underused technics: Barkhausen noise or Raman spectroscopy permit to define changes (oxide, residual stresses, quenching) in the burned material
-Detailed study of lubrication effect on a grinding nitrided steel
