General Presentation
The Sustainable Development Unit (SDU or CDD) was established following the initiative of a few staff members to foster collaboration within the laboratory on these issues, to act collectively, and to endorse the legitimatity to engage with relevant bodies. This unit brings together staff members regardless of their team, status, or employer, either for a limited time or for a longer commitment. Everyone who shares the unit's convictions is welcome.
Professional Context
It is now acknowledged that our environment is undergoing significant changes in various aspects: climate change and its direct consequences, pollution (air, water, ground), increasing use of resources, generation of large volumes of waste, and personal stress.
The SDU is committed to take actions at its level in order to mitigate these changes. This commitment is also part of a larger-scale dynamics involving the whole Grenoble area (governing bodies and other laboratories).
