Image taken with a JEOL_IT500HR scanning electronic microscope on a cross section of a Ti-SiC multilayer sample deposited by reactive CVD.
The different layers and phases formed depend on the variable deposition time of each of them and the reactivity. The aim of the experiment was to determine the operating parameters to obtain a single MAX phase (Ti3SiC2).
