An article co-authored by Florence Robaut wins the John E. Morral Best Paper Award of 2025

The article [1] entitled Boron-SiC Diffusion Couple: Thermodynamics and Reactivity at High Temperature is based on the thesis work of Yamina Benamra at the Laboratoire des Multimatériaux et Interfaces (UMR 5615 CNRS / Univ. Claude Bernard Lyon 1). It combines an experimental approach, including Castaing's electron microprobe analyses carried out by Florence Robaut, with thermodynamic calculations to study the reactivity between silicon carbide and boron at high temperatures. Published in the Journal of Phase Equilibria and Diffusion (JPED), the manuscript is available on HAL or from the publisher. The prize, which is awarded each year to the best article published in this journal, pays tribute to Prof. John E. Morral, former editor-in-chief, for his major contributions to the study of diffusion pathways.

Congratulations to all the authors !
