Particle cross-section of Inconel 625 superalloy powder for additive manufacturing (Electron Beam Melting). This kind of observation allows to confirm the right size and morphology of powder particles for EBM. Meanwhile it shows internal porosities and little satellites on the surface which are typical defects from the gas atomisation process.
