Snowy microstructure
In this SEM-BSD image we can see a microstructure of a Cu-Cr alloy from a high cooling rate solidification process. The Cu matrix is in light gray and the Cr phase is in dark gray. It is possible to identify some solidification structures, such as Cr-rich dendrites, and other particular ones. It brings back our snowy winter memories!
