Mono cristal Silicium Kyropoulos

Silicon single crystal (Kyropoulos)
The photo shows a silicon crystal with a diameter of 140 mm grown in SIMaP-EPM laboratory using Kyropoulos technique. An interesting square shape can be seen on the shiny bottom surface resulting from faceted growth of the (111) facets in silicon.
