Thermal flower in an oxide field
Beautiful thermal flowers blossomed in a thermal oxide field of a 441X ferritic steel oxidized at 850°C under oxygen. Flower petals consist in (MnCr)3O4 manganese spinel while stamen are made of chromina (Cr2O3). We are currently looking for high temperature resistant bees able to ensure those flowers reproduction.
