Copper seahorse
To fabricate parts by Electron Beam Melting (EBM) additive manufacturing, copper is atomized with gas to obtain powder particles. This leads to spherical particles with a size between 20 and 120 µm. The instability of the process occasionnally causes particles of more irregular shape such as this particle photographed by SEM.
